Because tbh 0.8 per day is way too slow to save for a whole transmog set, takes about 20 days for just one piece, and you cant farm em cuz dungeons are closed.
Prices used to be cheaper in the voting days.

there is explorer,tbc normals/heroics/raids,vanilla raids/instances,rdf normal/hc + hard mode achieves from rdfhc,naxx,ulduar.... Not all instances are closed

Farm archivient point in game get 5000 in account , and you get 1.2 point , but for sure thats not that much .. i might say they must increase 1.2 to 1.5
