1. Guild Rename

    Wonder if I could get some help. I have pretty bad OCD and I just created a guild (after a failed charter and hassle of getting 20 sigs) and I made a "typo"

    The name should be Knights Of The Crusade - instead it's "Knights of the Crusade". Those capitals make all the difference to me.

    And this is a long shot- but could a GM change it for me?
    Edited: August 21, 2016 Reason: I was on mobile. All options in Services weren't appearing. Guild rename is a avalible through coins

  2. While there is guild rename feature with COINS nobody gonna help you. Rmk the guild or donate coins.

    That isn't for you to decide.

  4. His answer isn't wrong, though - there is a service for guild renaming available for coins, so your "long shot" is expecting special treatment from a GM?

    How is that special treatment? Read my original post then read my edit. I didn't make this thread with those intentions and only left it open in hopes a small technical error would be fixed for free without costing me money. Not to mention; I'm not even renaming the guild but fixing a grammatical error.

    But thanks Obnoxious for giving this guy the idea he can make staff decisions because it is completely within your discrestion on wether you want to or not. That was the point of my post to him.

  6. I really don't think asking on the Support forum to fix a grammatical error in a Guild name is asking for special treatment.

    I literally just asked Mercy to change my forum name. So what sense does that make? I must contact a GM to have a name change in the forum but I cannot contact them to fix a grammatical error? Please Obnoxious I hate when you respond to me because I know it's going to be Obnoxious. Don't promote the idea of players speaking for staff either.

    #1. "Support & Q/A A place for players to help players with a variety of doubts and issues with little to no intervention from Staff." The only reason I said anything at all was because you were invalidating his correct reply out of him "not being Staff" - even though this is a section to get replies from players;

    #2. If you made a "grammatical error" (which you actually didn't; what is grammatically incorrect is to capitalize "of," "the," "a" and others, unless they are the first word) in a character name the situation would be the same. If we have one way to let players fix themselves their mistakes and you ask for an "exception" for whatever reasons you might have and believe are valid, you're asking for special treatment. It would only not be special treatment if it was offered to everyone, which it isn't;

    #3. Mercy isn't a GM, she is a Forum Moderator. Changing your Forum name is something we offer for free, within reason; guild renaming isn't. If you can't see the difference, the issue isn't mine - you'll just have to accept it;

    #4. No player "spoke for the Staff." He gave you a correct answer, which you prove to be unable to accept, wanting "Staff validation" for something that is pretty clear - at least for players not expecting special treatment.

    It's not incorrect to captilize every word in the name or title of something. Knights Of The Silver Hand is correct. Knights of the Silver Hand is not. It does not matter and is not worth arguing over thanks for the help. I was just saying; it was at your discretion, not his.

  9. http://www.grammarbook.com/punctuation/capital.asp - Rules 16a and 16b.
    http://grammar.yourdictionary.com/ca...alization.html - Rules 4 and 8, indirectly, but explain about not capitalizing prepositions and others, unless they are the first letter of the title.
