Darkmoon Faire disappeared?

Faire was there below Goldshire as of 8/28/16 but it is gone now. I checked other forums regarding this issue, but all I can find is to go off of this event page http://wotlk.openwow.com/events. According to this, the faire should be below goldshire from start: 2016-08-27 end: 2016-09-02. Checked today, not there.

I've also heard that the faire will start from the first sunday of the month and last for a week. If this is the case then, why was faire at 8/28/16 which isnt the first sunday of that month.

Can anyone provide insight as to why?
