1. Random freezes, weird lags

    Hey guys,

ok so I´ve been experiencing two problems lately:

    - my client randomly freezes. Usually this happens on a boss pull. Sometimes its just a 2-3s delay, sometimes nothing, sometimes it freezes to the point that it forces me to hard-reset my laptop. The thing is, I still can talk on teamspeak but not perform any action at all including alt-f4, alt-tab, ctrl-alt-delete.
Actual case from tonights raid: Bosspull on XT, interface says that I´ve entered combat, game freezes and no action possible unless I kill the PC.

    - I play on a laptop with WiFi connection, just did a ping test and it says 13ms. Ingame its around 50ms. Even tho it says 50, it get random lags every few seconds ONLY on bossfights. Those lags cause me to have a freeze for a couple of seconds, then the game fast-forwards all the action that has happended and i get to play normally for a few moments again.

So since I can browse and download things perfectly fine and none of my guildmates experience this problem, i suppose it is WoW-Client side. I´m using the Wotlk client 3.3.5.12340 (the one that doesnt crash in dala). Any ideas what to do/try?

    Thanks for reading, cheers

  2. It hapoens sometimes to me too.

I think it is caused because the HDD is busy and addons like DBM require some disk usage when loading modules, like the boss ones. Try to preload them and try the fight only with DBM, see if this happens.

Can you list your addons? One of them is doing this.

  3. The addons Im using are
    Ackis Recipe List
    Atlas
    Auctioneer
    Bartender4
    DBM
    GSlite
    Informant
    Mapster
    MSBT
    Omen
    Quartz
    Xperl

since the mentioned problems occur only on bossfights it seems reasonable for DBM to be responsible. I tried a HC dungeon after I had to drop out of the raid, had no problems there so it seems to be true for raidbosses only.
