I never thought I would have to post this here but this is getting unbearable. I have been playing on this server for more than 2 years with a little to no issues.

I log on here when I have some free time and get my mind off things, but the last few days my gaming experience has been frustrating to say the least, I have seen way too many players abusing fly / speed hacks and camping me when I couldn't do nothing about until I just gave up and logget out.

UPDATE: I wrote an ingame ticked with names and proof and they've been dealt with. Justice served :)

You can't always assume things.

If a player dies and is given speed/flight as a ghost to go back to their corpse, there is (even noticed by warmane) bug that could be exploited to make the player fly really fast ONLY IN CERTAIN ZONES.

Keep this in mind, then again, they are exploiting the bug so that is also an offence.

It's alright. What bothers me is that this alleged ghost bug was said to be fixed months ago, sucks they didn't even care to backup their claim.

It never happened to me so I didn't know about the bug, and I guess it wouldn't bother me that much if they weren't doing it with the sole purpose of annoying me to the point I just log out. It just takes discourages me from playing and it's just as wrong.

There is an exploit where you summon your flying mount and at the last second you interrupt it by learning a new mount. You can fly and attack but you're really slow.

I don't think it was that as they were much faster than me on a 310% mount

I remember back when it was still Molten there was some kind of anti-hacking software called sentinel or something that would detect when you're using hacks and would ban you automatically. Anyone know what happened to that ?

I assume sentinel anti-cheat is still active at wotlk and they are trying to improve it even more. But about MoP, they had implemented it at the beginning of Stormstout but it was causing some crashes and some issues so they disabled it to fix that problems but IDK what happened to that...

The only solution is to hire more game masters and always will have someone online
Yesterday i've reported ingame 2 flyhackers plus 3 or 4 afk people on BOTS and they are still not banned.
