1. Is it worth starting on Frostwolf? Will Updates even come?

    Hello,
This is mostly to the Staff, Admins or anybody who might know:

I was wondering if it is worth staying on Frostwolf, or if i should spend my time on one of the wotlk servers.
I dont really see any changes being made to this server, if its the bugs, the lower content, or anything to be honest.
I'm not here to complain that changes should be made faster.
I just want to know if changes will happen eventually or not, so i dont waste my time.

    Thanks in advance

mind that wotlk servers arent perfect too , because theres not such thing as perfect private server .
frostwolf isnt that bad as they are saying but there is high posibility that it may die just like cata realms.
Changes will happen , but how long will they last thats the question

  3. If you are indeed contemplating a fresh start on Frostwolf, make it with all due haste and get at least 1 char to 90 with 2 maxed out professions before the 1st of october. Rates will be severly decreased and leveling profs is going to be blizz-like x1 (aka a pain in the rear).
It is worth starting if 1) you don't mind competitiveness (mainly in PvP); 2) you are able to overlook the non-english speakers in global at times; 3) are mentally prepared for an eventual server decay (it's probably going to happen sooner or later, but weirdly enough this just serves me as fuel to get as much done as possible before it happens).
All in all it may deserve a shot. There's plenty of resources in Pandaria (both for herbalism and mining) which open up new possiblities in terms of crafting and competing in the auction-house. Past 85 things become interesting, and once you hit 90 the actual game truly begins. That is to say, at least, if you're aiming for the 550 ilvl. If not, you can still have a good time (provided you happen to walk into the right bar...)

We have plenty of content in the pipeline just check out the development log or the change log.

People need to realise that unlike WotLK, MoP needs a lot of new core systems implemented before we can even start on the content.
Take the Challenge Mode system (which is being worked on) as an example, that needed weeks of research, development and reverse engineering work just for the core system so that the scripters could even come in and update the dungeons themselves.

We don't sit around twiddling our thumbs like people seem to believe.

It would be good to actually show players how much time is needed to do certain things you are working on right now, if you don´t provide this, players(like me) tend to thing that staff and others abandoned server, because updates are not coming, usual people do not know how much you need to work on for example one boss, so just show them aka --2 weeks scripting, 1 week testing etc... , I don´t know how much is MoP different from other expansions , for example when I played Cataclysm on other server, 1 developer had full Bastion of Twillight scripted in 1 week in comparison

I know you guys are working hard but what makes me lose patience (and I don't think it's only me) are the other changes that warmane does that makes playing on this realm even harder than it already is such as the marketplace changes and the upcoming rate nerfs. New marketplace removed many of the items from the old marketplace and increased the price of existing items by a lot. We were told that we should be working for our mogs despite being left without old content for months. The change should probably have come after the old content was released.

I really hope they won't go through with the rates change because grinding reputations and professions would be downright aggravating since nodes and reputations are not blizzlike.

Not directing this at the mop devs but more to warmane since you guys aren't really in control of these particular changes.

your problem is that u are showing no democracy sometimes , lets take example these rates lowering , many people did not agreed with that "blizz-like" system u still closed thread and just ignored , but when it comes to something that people want then either it comes but gets deleted or it just never appears ( like people wanted old - vote system back )

  8. also why after new updates we find new and new bugs in mop raids? like 2-3 weeks ago when you give us update and totally bugged qon which is not doable now and i dont even talk about 1shoting bosses in SoO

  9. Thanks , for the info , i know guys are working hard for the scripts , but like Jwicz said a timer that we can expect is nice , i love MoP in my exp is the best expansion a lot of stuff to do , i was offered free game to play with people on legion but i don't like how game became so easy. Now to asnwer the OP question i think it will be worth of playing when they release new stuff , or in this case old content.
