WotLK Icecrown Queues/Donation question

Hello.

With time passing by while standing in those 2k+ ques on Icecrown i came to this: i need to donate so i don't have to wait in queue for the whole evening.
I have spoken to other players on icecrown, some of them say that if you done some amount of money to warmane team you can log in in to the game almost without waiting in line.
I want to do that. I even found where to do it in control panel here on the website. Tried to do a little search on the forums here, found nothing but some scraps of information in the numerous forum topics like - "OMG how i am frustrated with those queues on icecrown". Nothing else have been found. Soooooo,i have some questions:

1) is it true? (about the donations and being queueless afterwards)
2)Is it a monthly fee, or i can donate once and be queue free forever?

You just need to donate 10$ and you don't need to wait on queu anymore, you insta enter in your characters load .
And you only have to pay it once not every month

Donating sets your account to Premium Status, Premium status allows you to skip the Que entirely Forever.
