Transmog bug help

Can someone please help me with the tmog bug, I've tried to do exactly what the guy in the video did but it doesn't seem to work. I even tryed making a macro on my keyboard that would apply and use the macron at the same time, but it still doesn't work.
I asked the GM if it's been fixed and he said no. Does anyone know why it doesn't work?
