1. Holy pala pve

what is best hpala, haste or int. i have seen that haste hpala do more heals than the int fucos, how comes, which one is the best?

and how does haste hpala manage to not oom on long fights like rs 25hc/ LK25hc?

  2. The trade off is between a stat that increases your mana regen and a stat that increases your healing throughput. At near BiS gear for me personally it's somewhere around 8-9k or so mana for 0.13-0.14 sec faster Holy Lights.

If your gear is good enough and you're adept at managing your mana, you might find that a lot of the time you end up sitting on huge reserves of mana you won't end up using. Gemming Haste in place of Intellect simply converts this surplus mana into something that's going to have a tangible improvement on your throughput.

Should be noted that completely gemming haste is only a good idea if you're planning to use SoW. A SoL user will gain very little by completely regemming to haste.

The amount of heals a paladin will stem more from their reactive and proactive ability to heal, gemming haste vs intellect is purely a preference on how fast/powerful you want your Holy Lights to be. Seeing a Haste paladin do much more heals than an Intellect paladin is very situational, and will stem from the difference in skill levels of the player. I've seen crappy and great paladins on both ends of the spectrum.

I personally prefer sitting at around 1400 Haste, and prioritizing Intellect from there (I achieve that with purely intellect gems and a Charred Twilight Scale). This puts my holy lights at about 1.1 (never remember the number to the hundredths). In terms of extremes, it is obviously possible and viable to gem and trinket for pure Intellect (will sit at around 1150 haste), and it is possible to prioritize pure Haste to the Holy Light haste cap of 1.0 seconds (1950 haste?).

As for how paladins can recover mana in fights, it is a combination of Divine Plea, and melee'ing the boss with Seal of Wisdom. If your tank prefers to use Judgement of Light, you can opt for Judgment of Wisdom for additional returns. Note that a haste paladin will auto attack faster than an Intellect paladin, and thus have faster returns via Seal of Wisdom.

  5. so should i give haste fucos a try? i like fast ****s xD i have 6.4 int holy pala
