Send account binded items to opposite faction

Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to send account binded items to the opposite faction. Like sending Greater Inscription of the Axe from my Alliance main character to my Horde alt while they are both on the same account.

I'm asking becouse I tried to send some gold and it wouldn't allow me, even though I remember it was possible on retail during WotLK, but maybe I recall wrong. Anyways what I really care about are account binded items, so please if someone has any clarification it would be great.

You could not send gold across faction in Retail. You should be able to send the enchantment though, with nothing else inside the mailbox, other than more BoA items.
