Is it possible to transmog set pieces that aren't of your class?

For example, a mage in teir 10 being able to transmog the set into a warlock teir10? Sorry if this has been asked already.

You need to be able to equip the gear in order to transmog it. If the gear is class restricted, you will not be able to transmog it to a different class other than the requirement suggests
