My main/premium account was hacked today, I received the "email changed" notification via email at 12:24 pm. I can provide all the details on the account, which are needed to retrieve it. My IP matches the IP in the logs for the last year(or couple of years back)
Edit: Please at least freeze the account until the issue is resolved, so the hacker cant do anything to it. I have backups on account, made from website and can provide links to twitch streams, have screenshots from in-game and so on... my IP alone should prove I'm the owner of account.
I have not logged in the game in like a week or two, my IP has not changed in at least a year, same as for password. I did not have 2 factor auth on the account.
How can someone change the email without confirmation from old email? This is a major security risk!

I never gave out account details to anyone, the password used was not used anywhere else. haven't had a single issue with the account until now. Mod please check if Derpykins IP matches the above shown.

To get your account back you have to send email to [email protected] instead of writing on forum.
He is just pointing out that there is no way to obtain your password from Warmane. So someone must have obtained it from you. If you have not shared your password with others it could still be obtained with a keylogger or by watching when you type your password, especially if you have used a public computer to log on your account.

If you hadn't given your account info out, your account would not have been stolen, that is a fact and any staff member will tell you so. Nobody can just magic your account info out of thin air, silly kid. And I don't think I'd want your random account, I already have my own. Children, I swear...

I was banned on another game once, so I guess they should check my IP as well. Guilty by association only works when they share a context.

You can change an account's email by having access to their account. However, keep in mind that if they were able to do that, you are in a serious situation, since that means that they can have already accessed your in-game account and basically done anything they wanted with your characters.
For this reason, you should be very careful to keep all of your account data safe (even your username).
Email change is reversible, as other players have already stated. Contact [email protected] and they will change it back to the original. It might take around a day for them to read the ticket, depends on the workload, and obviously it will take more on weekends.
