WotLK I simply can't see why I'm not allowed

Ok, so the thing is that I want to give a friend of mine a character.
He has no money, and he is too lazy to level (even considering the 7x XP)
I simply want to give him a character, but I can't find any way to do that. The character has 3.9k GS. I don't want it, and i don't wanna sell it to someone.
I Just want to give it to him.
I've tried the Merge function but hit a wall and found out that's only used when 2 realms are merging and one account cant hold all the chars on the 2 realms.
And now i've waited 2 days for a ticket ingame without response.
I can't see why I'm not allowed to simply give him a character that i do not want.

simple, at the moment there isn't a feature to do that. No one can send their own characters to an other account.
The only workaround is by using "charcter trade" feature, but it would requires donating/Coins etc.

You not considering the reasons we have to be good is irrelevant. You are free to disagree, but we do not offer any way to give away characters, nor do I see we ever having.
