Whether Wintergrasp or Battlegrounds players take advantage of the lenient AFK mechanics. Moving slightly every few minutes is all it takes to clear the anti-afk system.
For BG/WG implementing zone changing to clear auto-kick would be a reliable solution; exception being when you're standing near a base/flag (gun cannon/siege craft in WG) which would give you an invisible buff that registers you as being an active participant in the battle. Even if the lazy people mount up and run around the BG the entire time they'll just be farmed for HK. Not activating any abilities should also debuff the player with 0 honor gain. This again would be voided if they're standing near an important location in a battle.
" give you an invisible buff that registers you as being an active participant in the battle"... yeah so instead of being able to kick people who are afk, they will just run up to a base sit afk there and be immune to the afk kick. Good one. I say implement.
How would you make it less lenient while accomplishing A) not punishing players who are defending a base but have nobody to fight, and B) dealing with what Allahkazam posted?
