1. Hello Warmane Community.

Hello everyone. My name is Ivany and i have been searching for good WotLK server in a long time. I hope i just found one. I am 26 years old and i started WoW since Vanilla, however my favorite expansion was WotLK, i just got unsubscribed from retail, they can no longer bring any fun to me and my friends, in terms of PvP and PvE. Before i start playing here, i want to know few things.

    1. Is the Icecrown and Lordaeron realm truly blizzlike? Are they nicely scripted?

    2. Icecrown's population, is it real. Because jeez, 12000 players online, that's a bit hard to believe, having in mind that blizzard took down a server that just had 7k, if that population is real, i found heaven.

    3. I played WoW many years, but i have never really interacted with websites, so is there any top guilds PVP / PVE ? that i could join after some time?

  2. 1. Icecrown has increased rates (xp/gold etc) whereas Lordaeron is x1. but icecrown all content has been released whereas lordaeron is getting it bit by bit to get progression. The nonblizzlike feature theyve brought in now is transmog for wotlk which is done by having scrolls drop, but doesnt change gameplay other than visually. The majority of stuff works well, as in u can get to 10k achievemnt points without much trouble, can be tricky for loremaster but still doable (might get phasing bug etc but gms can help with that usually or some quest wont work but a minor one. Also when they fix something, it usually temporarily bugs something else out, but major gameplay issues are fixed quickly.

    2. i don't know if they report the real stats, but if u log in at peak times u will find dalaran absolutely packed. as in cant find any1 if u dont target macro them in the crowd. sw and ogri have more ppl sitting in them than cata realm had on peak times...so ye pop is gd np. ofc think of the bad things about that. you wana farm? hello tons of competition, quest item? w8 for respawn with 5 ppl nearby, lvlin zones for both ally and horde? y u gona be killed.
But in my view this only makes it better. finding a grp for lvlin or raidign dungeons etc is always quite easy.

    3. in the forum under realm name there is recruitment tab, u can see all advertised guilds there. some are by country, others just pvp or pve. they will list requirements and maybe a site to apply on. top pvp guilds will usually want some rating in 2v2 or 3v3 with gd pvp gear, top pve guilds will ask for ach or tactics with gd gear for heroics. ofc lets not forgt its a social game - so its all about who u know and make friends with.
theres also a lot of guilds which actlly look rly gd which arent listed there but can find in game.

oh and ps. welcome to warmane.
