Pandaria Log in stuck at "connecting"

I downloaded and installed MoP from Warmane and it all went just fine.

I opened the game client by double clicking the WoW shortcut and it brings me to the MoP Log in screen.

I put in my Warmane account Username exactly as I do when logging in to Warmane, and did the same with my Password for my Warmane account.
(I have also tried this after right clicking and pressing "run as administrator")

No matter what I do the game is Always (seemingly) permanently stuck with a box up that says "connecting."

I have waited up to an hour waiting for it to connect.

the Frostwolf server is not full enough that I could be stuck in a Log-in waitlist/queue.

Does anyone have any suggestions on why this is not connecting for me or what may be the problem?

I'm having log in issues as well, however, to me it tells me to upgrade my client or whatever. I think it's server side and we just have to wait a while or something

Same here. I can get past the login, but i get stuck in the realm selection screen after the "Logging in to game server" shows up.
It just goes back to the realm selection after a while...
