Lvl 90 mage struggeling with DPS and health in MoP

I am a fire mage lvl 90 in MoP and I seem to be very week. I dont get the maximum dps or singel combo damage and I constantly die against mobs that other lvl 90s one shot. I am at the stage ware I grind timeless isle coins to get gear , but can someone guide me threw how I can get that big dps and get much stronger please.
