Moltdown and the revolt, coming back

So I was out during the Molten days and during that time I played alongside siblings who lived out of state.

Ever since then, I let my youngest sibling take over and since then to now I want to come back only reailzing molten is now warmane.

Was there like a recovery thing that too place? Also how long ago was this?

I read 2 things happened, the moltdown whereas molten seemingly got hacked and a hacker revolt that caused many to return to warmane.

Yes, there was a recovery. It was 2 years ago and it lasted for 2 months.

As what Mercy stated, you have returned a bit late to the party, but it should not be as difficult to regain everything back unless your siblings did most of the work for you.

There were 2 events that took place, the ones you mention. I guess it is time for a history lesson:

The Moltdown was the loss of everything that was molten causing the community to split, leave or await for further instruction from molten, now called warmane staff. When everything was renewed as Warmane, another wipe took place days after, however, everything has returned to normal into present day.
Prior to it there was a greedy admin that caused molten staff to act out rudely to the playerbase, causing many to be come enemies with molten staff until one post was made and BOOM, it happen. This lead to a fight left and right in community and staff to recover the db and scripts, only for the opposing side to win it over, which they used to trick the confused players of molten who do not use forums. It was so bad event molten haters like BH, dodgykebab, etc felt sympathetic towards molten. This also triggered the group of players to make revolt.

The Revolt, which is called the hacker revolt (dunno why it was dubbed that, but whatever) is where dedicated molten/warmane playerbase went to the stolen database and used an exploit (that was not blocked at the time) to crash the server a few times, in addition, helping those who were blind return to Warmane. This fight also took place on social media whereas there was 2 molten fb pages, said group helped once again to help people go to everything that is Warmane. Kear acknowledged this in the old stream videos, however, those streams were taken down.
After a few crashes, the old sever, fb page, twitch, reddit, etc had been shut down completely, ending that chapter in warmane history.

It is an event in shadow of moltdown; I know because I helped out to bring people back to warmane at the time because I knew something was wrong after I saw that one video on Youtube, so something had to be done.
