WotLK "Report spam" abuse ??

Hello,
I'm an Alliance player on Lordaeron, and on this server there is a guy with dozens of account always talking to himself (I think he has a bit of a mental problem) on global who's spamming all the time. He's not insulting or offensive, but he floods global with useless messages + advertises his tumblr.
This player changes accounts several times an hour and I have been unable to mute him successfully.
So, a player advised me to report him for spam, which effectively mutes + send a report.

Can I get banned for using report spam too often? I have used it 50 times but the guy still has more accounts & I don't want to get ban for abusing this feature

Because with 50+ report it kind of sounds like I have a personal vendetta against him + that I give extra work to admins, so it could fall into abuse territory, but everything is justified by the circumstances. If it's daangerous for my acc I will stop. Anyone knows?

All report spam does on here is temporarily ignore him, it doesn't actually send any report, that only works on retail.

Dike: I have muted around 50 of his names and he still comes up with new ones every day
