1. [TBC] Cross-faction Chat

The first time I played on Molten was on TBC server. If I remember right there was cross-faction messaging. WoW is an M rated game, where censorship could be toggled for the light-hearted. I think you should give this server the true experience of battle; raiding and dungeons wont stay progressive long and as always with Outland PvP becomes the dominant game. Outland is a world of War; it was torn apart by war. I think we deserve the right to at least speak with opponent factions inside sanctuaries, such as Shattrath. I know its not blizzlike but its what i remember TBC like way back when.

  2. cross faction whisper on molten was due to how premium users were set up. it wasn't intended and i wouldn't hold your breath waiting.

Molten came out in 2009 and only ever featured WotLK until the release of Greymane (I think that was its name) which featured Cataclysm.

I wish the cross-faction whispers would return because I loved the feature, but we will probably never get it back.

  4. An option inside the languages could be added. A language called something like "Azerothian" or simply "Universal". This way if you wanted, you could /say or /yell or talk through side channels cross-faction, since everyone would speak this one.
I think it would be a WoW-fitting way to implement what you ask for.

Then I must be thinking of another server lol first time I played Molten was 2010.

Was there a point where instant 80 started at Dark Portal? Maybe I got confuse, it has been 7 years lol either way I think cross faction chat in Outland should be a thing. No chat in Azeroth. Outland was the first time both factions technically had to work togerher.

  6. I'd like this too. Other servers do this and it's actually pretty nice. I have even seen cross faction grouping, trading etc. Let's not go that far, but at least chatting with them would be delightful. Even only in Sattrath. But I'd like that feature to work everywhere. And to hell with blitzlike in this particular case. :P I like to have blizzlike gameplay, but chatting? Come on, this doesn't spoil the experience, not really.

  7. yes!! please do, would make everything so much more fun and community will actually grow stronger due to competitiveness

  8. The only reason 'cross' faction anything exists is due to low population, which guess what? Wont be an issue in the slightest.

That's what I was going to say.

  10. Skuddy is correct. It was a side-effect of how Premium was handled, and has been discontinued even for donors. It won't come back as that or a general feature.
