Technical Lost my characters?

Hello guys, i've played on Molten WoW for so long, had a lot of characters on the wotlk servers. When the server went down and all back up again, i started it all over on Cata/MoP (can't remember exactly on which one).

But once more, i log in after a few months, and boom. No more characters...
Any idea of what might be happening? Is it a bug? Did I by any way log in to the wrong account? Did the server shut down again? Can i get my characters or anything to make up for it back?

Help would be apreciated!

if you were playing on Sargeras (MoP), the realm closed. Players could move their chaarcters on Frostwolf for free but it is too late now

If you were playing on Warsong(Cata), the realm closed. Players could move their characters on Neltharion for free but it is too late ( yesterday was last day)
