Im lv 12 and i cant barelly survive 2 mobs, i deal ****ty dmg, help/tips?

Leveling is very easy. Try teaming up with another low level or have a friend that's higher level come help you. Also, there are classes that have healing abilities which making leveling a lot easier. You could always start training first aid.
As far as survival goes....pick up ANY armor you find and put it on. Armor at low levels is essential. Make sure you do the same for weapons. Always be looking to upgrade. The faster you can kill a mob, the easier you will survive.

Because you are gonna outgear yourself pretty fast, so engaging enemies of the same level as you is not always a good idea. Because you probably dont have the gear equivalent of your level. otherwise i didnt find leveling hard as a rogue. Sure if you are a melee class, you will have to drink after every 2-3 mobs. And dying to 2-3 mobs in melee combat at once is nothing unusual

rogue is rough. you lack armor/healing and most of the time, good weps. leveling will suck unless you group/get boosted with gear

First what server/expansion are you on?
Second level as combat, it's a breeze as you get higher in levels, it generally sucks in pvp, but for leveling purposes, it's wonderful. Oh great in raiding as well.
Third Learn to use cc frequently. Sap a humanoid, kill the other and then finish the other guy off.
Forth keep food on you at all times, level cooking it helps.
Fifth alway...ALWAYS have poisons on you at all times and make sure your weapons are coated.
Sixth kick spell casters so they can't fire on you.
Seven Plan ahead! scout the area and pick your targets carefully. This is the back bone of being a rogue. I rogue isn't a plate wear and you will always go down fast with moderate to heavy damage on you.
Eight Evasion! Evasion! Evasion!

If anything, leveling isn't hard enough. The more talents you get, the more apparent it becomes how overpowered you are compared to the content you're expected to be doing, and that is without factoring in heirlooms. The only thing I would even consider remotely challenging at low levels are dungeons, where tanks are paper, healers are perpetually dehydrated and the hunter's pet just pulled more mobs.

Seriously? You think WoW is hard while leveling? I mean, Vanilla is hard, and maybe BC. WotLK and the later expacs never had any challenges when it comes to leveling, imo.
