Hello everyone.
I live quite far from the servers therefore I have some lag : around 230ms.
I want to be able to perform to the max as a dps in ICC.
My friends tell me they need an elemental shaman but I'm afraid that I won't be able to do max dps with it due the spam 0.8sec lightning bolt of the spec because of my lag.
I use leatrix latency fix and autoLag Tolerance which in theory is supposed to allow me to dps normally. But I need advice from people who really know their ****.
Am i going to be fine as an elem shaman with 230ms or should I chose another class ? If so, which class do you recomend ?

As far as I know ele shami and arcane mage are the only classes where its possible to make a fluent dps rotation by spamming a single castsequence macro so they might be the best when u have lag.

Nope. You wont do max dps with ele when you have lags.

What lol! I could even BG rank with my 300ms constant due to my location. And that's PVP. I could do even better in PVE. Latency less than 300 is okay in WoW. This is not a RTS or FPS game where even 100ms latency hits you hard.

no his comment was regarding trying to be top dps as ele shammy, which will not happen if the other raid members are similarly geared and know how to press 2/3 buttons
