Characters disappeared

I have played off and on Warmane, mostly when it was called Molten, and last time I played was about 6-12 months ago, maybe more, maybe less. I have just reinstalled to give it another go on the lich king server, which is where all my characters were. But, all my characters have been deleted. I recall doing some sort of character merge long ago but looks like something new came up after that or I did not actually do the merge and only read about it. I am unable to find options for it on the website. Please assist me in recovering my characters, thank you.

First thing you should do is open a ticket. If you already did that, then just wait, as nobody in the forum can really solve your problem.
However, a few months ago when warmane did some cleaning and freed up unused names, they also said they would discontinue the merges for good, meaning that if, indeed, you didn't already merge your characters, they are already lost, as Proterean said in http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=350399
