While i was mostly bored doing some casual battleground with a couple of mates i thought of some ideea.
Wouldn't it be nice if you the GM's would organise some kind of world pvp?
Some sort of - pvp guild vs pvp guild - 10 vs 10 man of some sort , 5 man if 10 man is too much of a hustle to handle with, in some random place - no objective ( or maybe add some objective of yourself if you think of it - specified number of total kills - number of kills done by someone , something like that ).
It might make for us , old players, things a little bit interesting. Twice a week maybe? or atleast once a week?
Been playing for almost 3 years here,did full content then started doing mostly pvp but now i am just bored, and i can say that alot more like me are there too.
It's just a small ideea,i heard there was something like this before so.. why not try it again. Would be quite fun : ). ( prizes would maybe a mount for a lucky guy , a pet , a small quantity of gold or gems or 1 scroll of deception or w/e you guys think of )
Hope some GM can reply to this thread and maybe take it in consideration or atleast tell me what he thinks of it : )

Sounds fascinating!
Bring back the nice events hosted by PvP Guilds which bring a ton of joy and fun. It's a wonderful idea imo and i hope it could be brought to realization.

They already by quite often organize PvP tournaments.
WPvP CAN'T be forced. WPvP CAN'T be organized. And it will never be detailed... It would be better if Warmane do little work on specific BG que ;) Leave custom content for later.
First, you need to understand the definition of World PvP. It doesn't need to be guild vs guild. It can be randomly started because some in-game or even better IRL issues (quarrels between gilds. Always is better when WPvP has some drama within. :) Trust me.) Like, spot for farming, quest area, Helping low levels because they are getting ganked, WPvP arenas, attacking on capital cities.
NO PRIZES! What the fu*k is that?! If you want scrolls go play BG's and 3v3 Arenas... You already get your reward (Honor points and HK) When you kill someone in world. But the best reward is when you kill the opposite faction guild. You get LMAO on them, pride, you get recognition, you get the control. They get angry, they call more forces. You call more guildies, you start a 30-infinite war. (depend on server and PvP activity) And then the games&fun begin. (Also ghost form) That's how it rolls man...
You really can't say this server doesn't have WPvP, it has. You just need to be in guild. :) A good active guild. Start attack on IF or TB, even better on ORG or SW. Go to STV, Tanaris, Wintergrasp... You will see respond. I'm not saying this server is total LIT but man, from my recent exp. We did SW previous week, after 3-4 hours we got rekted and expelled. Realm time 11PM~2AM.

From what i heard there was something like this done by a GM that stopped playing. I like small pvp encounters and skirmishes NOT PRESSING RANDOM BUTTONS in a 30v50 thing. You call world pvp mostly who gets more people vs more people then runing away like chickens.Where are those pvp tournaments ? I just see some rare 1v1 matches and thats it. And of course pvp can be organised you are just probably too dumb and stubborn to know that.
I've got arround 260k hks. I think i know what world pivipi or quarels between guilds are better than you do. I do not care of rewards, stop beeing ignorant ,i just said something to reward players like they rewards in other custom content.

WPvP is still very much alive mate, you just need to join up with the right guild (Dauntless or Warbringers for Horde and Carpe Noctem, Art of War etc... for Alliance). I think it would be nice if a GM did that, but it's quite easily doable by the guilds themselves and since it's already happening, just get out there and join in on the fun. ;)
I've been to multiple WPvP events recently. The thing is that it they might not all be as organized, but there is definitely something for everyone - from 10v10 to 20v20 and up to 40v40. :P

Can confirm that. And also bg premades are very "popular". So there are many ways to enjoy pvp, no need for an event.
In addition, i also think wPvP cant be organized, it's fun as it is. I would not have fun if i know they are coming ;)

I was not talking about premades 4v10 then going from 6 to 20 cuz let's bring the whole ****ing guild when we are bad at this game. I was just thinking of small skirmishes 5v5 or a little more. I quote : I think it would be nice if a GM did that . Yes it would wouldn't it. Because guilds tend to be stupid when they try to organise themselves. Did you see Old division vs warbringers ? They tried to make a gvg for months and it barely happened ( and it was not fair at all anyways ) , warbringer vs the blood oath and so on. It was just a small ideea of a small skirmish between people that maybe could be organised by a gm in a certain area , or just tp 2 teams in a certain area ( yes they can do that - watch cow darts events for example ). Anyways i will just consider it whatever ideea from now on. An old GM did this,and it was fun back then, too bad he isn't playing anymore.
