I need 600 thorium for blacksmithing and the zones are ****ing empty lol
with 15k people it's actually a joke.
dude the amount of salt I get for mining is insane.. people afk next to node spawns that absolutely GO OFF on me if I come and mine it.
one guy said "I bet you suck your own mothers dick for ore" and continued in that manner and literally followed me around the zone to steal my ore.
It's getting ridiculous lol
with 15k people you really have to do something... please?...

i made a topic in suggestions , i told them to increase the spawn rates if possible , still no answer .I'm done with thorium (it took me 3 days...) , now the struggle in outland is real , there is no fel iron ... :(

yea I was thinking fel iron would probably be even worse..
I don't want to tell you guys what to do.. but there has to be a fix for this : / it's a huge pain in the a$$

I agree, but that was 100% sure that with so many people Outland would be too small, that was designed for ~3k people not like ~10k (assuming there is around 5k that is pexing outside of Outland and that could be way less).

yea it was designed for 2-3k probably.. 5-10k and it's pretty much impossible to level mining/blacksmithing/engi/JC etc

thorium is beyond easy to get, you just gotta know where to look ;)

For thorium you go Ungoro / Silithus /Burning steppes /winterspring , don't make it look like if it was Rocket science .Even if you know the spots and not only areas , it is very hard to up mining right now.Hope they'll read this topic or mine .
Edit : And even if it was easy , upping blacksmith is not like upping jewelcrafting , you need more than 400 bars for blacksmith...

It took me 4-5 days to gather all the ores I need to level blacksmithing up to 300. Thorium and mithril ore gave me the most trouble, thorium alone took me 2 days of running around in the Burning Steppes. The respawn times are way too slow and I can't imagine things getting better in Outland. Something definitely needs to be done about this.

I think that nothing needs to be done, because that's always a problem at start and while day. You have better chance to farm them at night or when people have skilled their professions.
20k ppl started at outland, 15k are online, all wanna skill their professions=zones are empty. That's always a problem when ppl float with the current. Wait or try it at night=gg

Have you leveled mining to 350 sans outland? I have. There are always hordes of people running around, regardless of which zone you try. You have to remember that there are large numbers of players from all over the world on this server. There's only a small window of a couple of hours every 24 hours where the online population drops significantly.

Yeah, that's the point that all people started here at the same time and wanna skill their professions now and not a few monthes later=zones are empty. Imagine: 20k ppl, 15k online, long bg queue for horde, I suppose 1-2k ppl with mining and all half of them wanna skill their professions=gg

Indeed, hence why OP made this thread to address this issue. We're not going to be leveling mining when university starts in a couple of months, we want mines to spawn faster so we can get going with actually playing the game.
