Mob Tagging

Hello !
MY question is simple and I want an answer before I start leveling. I plan to level an alt and I want to mob tag. By mob tagging I mean mobs in zones which normally I can kill solo. For example level 30 tagging levels 30-34 in STV and killing em with my other char.

You didnt actually ask a question, but yes, you can mob tag and then kill them with your high lvl char. I have seen alot of people doing this :)

You are allowed to do this as long as the mobs are level appropriate, aka they aren't 10 levels higher than the low level character.

Some random guy asked me to do this in RFC, he planned on dropping party to get extra xp and then rejoin before getting booted. Absolutely no chance I was going to risk my account for a random, but from what you've said the mobs aren't 10 levels higher as such, though imo the fact that they are elites effectively means they are. Can you confirm this is not allowed?

No, this is considered as exploiting.

Its border line exploit.And leqns more to it then not.Since the way ia more complicated then not using also engineering and malaco also said in whisper its more exploit and thus u should not be using this method in dungeons.World mob tagging appropriate to your level 5 - + is allowed.

Athene used this method so I don't think it can be considered an exploit.

It is considered to be an exploit by our Game Masters, as i was just forwarding what they told me.

Yes i saw many people banned for doing that in dungeons on lordareon so its not allowed,no matter if it was on retail its not here.

Thing is retail on wrath changed how formulae worked on experience hit .
If you werent in group and other player damaged mob 95% and you did 5% dmg despite you tagged mob You would recieve only 5% OF MOB TOTAL EXPERIENCE that he gives you on your level.Thus mob tagging didnt really work(they changed that after athene got reverted to original level).

It's easy to level as is, just be patient :)
