Technical Group calendar for Raid organizing, getting muted

Hi

My guild decided to try to use Group manager to try to manage our raids, but We cant get it to work properly since its syncing through a chat channel and its constantly muting people.
Is there anything we can do about this?

Find someone to rewrite it to work over the guild addon channel or ditch it entirely.
