Hello all, so im downloading the game now. I wanted to see what was in need on the server. Ive played a tank for years but want to play something that is relevant that will allow me to raid with a guild. Also how hard is leveling on this server?

Which server are you playing on? Warmane has a few different servers for 4 xpacks. You can see the XP rates here (Blackrock has none because it's instant 80).

I'd say if you're comfortable and experienced playing as a tank, stick with that, but if you're looking to try something else, just mess around with different classes/specs and see which you enjoy and are skilled at. Most dedicated raiding guilds on any server would prefer players who are experienced with their class and know its toolkit over forcing someone to play the spec/role that's needed. Your best bet is to check the threads in the recruitment forum for whichever server you're rolling on to see which guilds are recruiting and which roles they're looking for.
