WotLK Added to chat channels when joining new zones

Hi,

I keep getting added to custom chat channels when joining any new zone. And after a few minutes, I get a popup on my screen saying that I can't say anything else for 60 seconds and counts down to 0. The channels look something like CrbZ4002l1. Does anyone have a fix for this? It's definitely ruining my experience having to wait to /say and leave channels all the time.

Do you use any addons that modify your chat? Like Carbonite for example

Yeah, I figured it was addon related. I wonder if there is a way to change a config file or something to get rid of it.

I think there is option for that matter, try this.
Go to WoW's interface options, and click on the AddOns tab. Once there, click on "Your chars name". Now, click on "chars name" Filters tab. There is a box for custom filters there, add CrbZ* to the filter, and all carb channels will be ignored. The * at the end makes it ignore any channel name that starts with CrbZ.
