1. WoW won't open on Mac

I downloaded WoW on BitTorrent and when I try to open the application I don't get any message or anything I click on the icon in the toolbar and it just closes. Any ideas how I can get the app to open? I tried putting this (Chmod+x /Applications/Wrath\ of\ the\ Lich\ King\ 3.3.5a\ \(Mac\)/World\ of\ Warcraft.app) command in the Terminal on both the app and the launcher and I get a a Command not found message.

  2. I did what it says to do in that reply. However I am not getting those error messages. My application tries to open but when I click on the bouncing icon to open the game the icon disappears

  3. did you read this part? http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....=1#post2670070
Make sure there is a space before and after chmod +x.
    Like this : " chmod +x "

  4. Yes I did all of that and it still didn't work. I managed to find the download discs from when I played previously and the client will now open. However, it didn't patch to 3.3.5a it only patched to 3.2.0, any ideas how to get it to patch to 3.3.5a?

  5. here you can find old patches for PC and Mac: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Patch_..._(old_patches)
I do not know if those download links works.

Download these patches in the order they are listed from top to bottom :

    3.2.0 → 3.2.0a

    3.2.0a → 3.2.2

    3.2.2 → 3.2.2a

    3.2.2a → 3.3.0

    3.3.0 → 3.3.0a

    3.3.0a → 3.3.2

    3.3.2 → 3.3.3

    3.3.3 → 3.3.3a

    3.3.3a → 3.3.5

    3.3.5 → 3.3.5a

  6. I had the same issue. When you're typing "chmod +x" make sure you leave a space after the x. So the spaces look like "chmod_+x_(then drag and drop World of Warcraft). Of course _ is where the space should be. Hope this helps.
