Experiencing huge amounts of lagg with 100/10 mbit/s *NOT SOLVED
Hello people, The title is pretty self explanatory, When logged in i can barely move or talk to NPC's at all i constantly hover around 1000-2000 ping, I've tried everything from re-installing to going in to the files and playing around alittle honestly nothing works, Im really desperate and it feels like im the only one to ever experience this kind of issue.
EDIT: I live in Sweden and have no issues in other games like Csgo, LoL or Dota.
Is the high latency constant, and never drops to a resonable amount? Have you tried other realms of the same expansion? Is anyone else on your network using the bandwidth?
You could try using a VPN and see what result that gives you. Some ISPs in Sweden (I live there aswell) like to screw their users over by ruining certain traffic unless they block it completetly.
I have similar issue, my ms goes high during raids on random spikes i think it started nearly 3 weeks ago, however, it has gotten so much worse in the past couple of days that im no longer able to raid without freezing during the encounter.
I dont have any latency issues in other games, and those massive spikes happen during boss fights, ms goes from 50 to 1k on quartz and things start getting real choppy, worst case i freeze for 5-30 seconds and im forced to disconnect my acc and login again during boss fight.
Makes me happy to complain about 500 ms
Spikes. ;) haha.
But really. Are you downloading anything? Wifi? If so is it an open wifi ? Do you share Internet ?
So many things come in to play when it comes to latency.
Its like im having some limited bandwidth on wow....
Pinged the server during raid when my ms jumps to random values between casts and i get 0 package loss, ran speedtest during the spikes to France, Moscow and NA and i get
France- 40ms / 70kdl / 16k up
Moscow - 70ms / 30k / 13k
NA - 175ms / 16k / 8k
optimal server 0ms 75k/ 40k
Yesterday traceroute was giving me 3 time outs, today during raid its 9 complete hops with most 32ms (i raided today and it was still the same )
Check under your processes if something is maybe hogging your network. Also check the connection itself, if its wifi make sure to turn off wifi on any other devices you are not using at the moment. If nothing helps I suggest calling your ISP.
