WotLK DK starting quest: Massacre At Light's Point issues.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right forum board to post, but I'll do it anyway. Moderators can move this thread to the appropriate place if so.

I did a research, but I couldn't find anything about this particular issue on the forums or anywhere else.

So, for the quest I need to jump into a cart, then a peon should bring me to the ship so I can kill 100 Scarlet Defenders with a cannon.

The problem is that the guards are constantly aggroing the cart that I'm in and I drop out of it before I reach the ship.

I tried disabling my addons, cleaning the cache, abandoning and looking for other quests to finish in the area, but without any success. Does it have anything to do with Undying Resolve which occurs at time to time? I don't get it.

Please let me know if anybody has a solution for this or knows how am I supposed to finish this quest. I just want to move on with the leveling. I've also noticed that other people also have this problem.

I have the same problem. Also, if you go to the ship there aren't the 3 cannons on the ship to use them and kill the 100 elites....

I manage to do it. The quest is bugged for sure. The cannons you have to right click and use them to kill are at the beach and not on the ship. Search for the grey/white ones and not the brown/red....

Thanks, dude. I did what you said and now I can continue leveling.

For future reference, the player doesn't need to get in any mining carts, just have to ride down the beach and look for one of the "grey" cannons next to the ships.
