My latency to Icecrown is way beyond 1000ms averaging around 4-5k ms up to 20k ms. For Days now, this situation is not changing.
Any other onlinegame im playing / youtube streaming / downloading from different sources works perfectly well. Problem first occured around 13th of September 2017.
What i tried to rule out my hardware / Software:
Internetspeedtest with my provider ( cable based connection, Lan Cable ) . Optimal result. 70M/Bit Download | 5M/Bit Upload | Ping 14ms
router Factoryreset -( no change )
deleting cache and wtf Folder - ( no change )
deactivating all Addons - ( no change )
Pinging logon.warmane.com average 14ms
-----Then i tried to connect to Blackrock, and i had ingame shown about 200ms and it was well playable------
What is going on with my Connection to Icecrown. I asked around players in my guild, and some from different guilds from the same country using the same internetprovider. It seems to me, as i am the only one experiencing these issues.
I am not using a proxy to connect to warmane. And since i joined Molten in November of 2010, i never had a situation quiet like this.
I am unable to play - can only stand around in Dalaran lagging like s.....
All of a sudden my connection is back to normal. I did not make any change to my hardware / software. Im curious if things change again at raid time, and will report changes in the upcoming days.
The servers of the company "Piriform" - makers of the tool "CCleaner" have announced that their servers, and the recent versions of the tool have been infected with malware. And my last download of this tool fits perfectly into the timeframe of infected versions, corresponding with the issues i had. The software "Malwarebytes" that im using didnt recognize the infection of my system.
Most probably, the issue are solved now and this thread can be closed. *hopefully sigh*
