Burning Crusade Gold gone

Last week I tried to sell my rogue trough the warmane trade service. I changed my mind and cancelled the trade but when I logged on my rogue again all of my gold was gone and I had 0 copper on my character. Before I put him up for sale I had like 1200 gold on him. I did all of the outland quests just to grind the gold on him.
So I put on a ticket to a GM ingame and my responds was:

So I just got robbed from my gold and all the hours playing to get it is just gone? How can this possibly be able to happen. Something went wrong and they aren't wanna solve it? I really want my gold back this is just unacceptable... How are they wanna provide for a great wow experience if things like this can just happen and it can't be solved.

Could anyone help me out on this ?

they don't return lost/stolen items for any reason. unless they were purchased with real money. bugs happen. better luck next time.
