Burning Crusade Both sender and recipient players must have accounts older than 6 months

Hi, I'm a bit confused. Looking at the forum, it is said that the account does not have to be 6 months old to send gifts. But on the Gift page, it says

<< - Both sender and recipient players must have accounts older than 6 months >> .

I'm waiting for the three-day blocking after adding two-way security to be completed. But when it's done I will not get the opportunity to send gifts to others since my account is not 6 months old?
