I know there is been a lot ot talk about crossrealm BGs coming soon for TBC realms, but I can't help but notice that both realms are on different pvp seasons. Right now, Medivh is still on season 1 and Outlands on season 2, yet I keep seeing Outlands players on the forums talking about season 3 coming soon. So I don't know when it's coming or what the plan is towards that exactly but, I don't think it would make a lot of sense to have crossrealm BGs happen between two servers on different pvp seasons.
With the pop already extremely low on Medivh, I think that implementing season 3 at the same time you do for Outlands would be the best thing you could do to help us survive. It's already very difficult for people to find groups for dungeons/heroics, so being able to farm the season 1 pvp set with honor to gear up while waiting for dungeons would be the best way to help our players get started, no doubt about that.
If that wasn't already the plan, would it really be out of the question ? I just don't want the population to sink any lower than what it already is.
outland and medivh need to be merged period outland does not have 12k players "maybe 12k bots" but not 12 k players and medivh has like 500 players. why make two servers?1x experience is not worth splitting up TBC players, another 500 people would be a big boom for outland and you said your self on medivh you have a hard time finding even groups for heroics. now they are talking about merging battle groups and im sure that will help both servers but im guessing the q's on medivh are very slow correct?again another reason why the two servers need to me merged. why merg battle groups for players on medivh if they dont like higher xps like we have on outland?thats not changing but medivh players like/want to bg with outland for better q's,what about sub level pvp?xps do not count?honor rates and the like?
when i started playing here this fall i looked at the two TBC servers i seen one had 12k pop the other had less then 1k. without reading any more about it i knew to join the high pop server because more players means more going on's and the server would not "die" easy. i joined warmne becasue my old TBC ended up with low pop.
its better to have one high pop TBC server "highest server pop other then retail" then it is to have two with one server being a few 100 people and having to merg crap anyway.
also who is more dominate in bgs on your server horde or ally?more dead weight added to the **** fest of horde afkers on outland will not do much good.

Yes I totally agree with you, at this point i'd rather have both servers merged together, having a few hundreds more players probably won't even make a difference over there. And this has been discussed a lot on the Medivh forum but Mods don't seem too receptive of that, saying that crossrealm bgs is a first step to help the server. And I'm not even sure if there is any BGs going at all atm on Medivh to be honest, most players are raid loggers. Even the AH is empty. So if a merge is not going to happen anytime soon, if at all, that's where my suggestion comes in.

no bgs?wow man that does suck and i can totally see how your server would be pretty much all raiders
yes if they merged the two servers that would make outland epic
can you xfer your toons to outland?if so it might be something you want to look into
