Technical Stuck in party

A friend and myself queued for a randomg heroic dungeon earlier, on entering it said the instance was in progress and 5/5 bosses were killed, so gave us the option to leave the insatance.
We both did, but even though I no longer have any party members showing on the left side of the UI and no dungeon finder icon on my map, I am getting an LFG error when trying to queue again, cannot invite nor be invited to another party due to already being in a party and not being the party leader and at first I was being asked to select my role every now and again, guessing whom ever was the bugged party leader was trying to requeue.
I have tried relogging, requested to speak to a GM, but we all know how long that takes.
Has anyone had the same thing and knows a quick fix?
