1. [ANSWERED]What's the point of reporting

I recently recorded an alliance rogue in a Battleground, the player had 3200 gs and was actually botting... After reporting and receiving a letter from the GM that stated the player in question was SUSPENDED, I decided to keep an eye on it to see how long this suspension would last (some of them are 2months). The guy was back on in 5 days. 5 DAYS!! For botting. I guess I'm jumping the gun here and haven't read the punishment for botting, so I am just assuming bots get banned, I mean, that's what the chatlog is... er.. was getting spammed with when GMS were going on ban sprees. Is it my mistake for thinking Botting was a permanent bannable violation?

  2. The GM was not able to inspect whether the player used actual botting software so a 5 day warning ban was issued. If the behavior continues the ban will turn into a permanent one.
