Hello. I have a few question about how the squish is going to happen and I was hoping that players that were there when the first squish happened will give some information on how the process happens.
What time does it start?
Do servers have to be restarted for the effect to take place?

I was under the impression that it was today. Am I the only one who thinks that halving players gold is not the answer to stopping farmers? If the need to buy gold was eliminated, that is how you stop the gold farmers, don't take away the players money, lower the costs of things in game, or increase the amount of currency rewards from quests and dailies would be the better answer. Just like in real life, taking away peoples money only pisses people off, nothing more.

Gotta love developers and the effort they put in to give us such awesome experiences.
The only thing I hate though is that with Warmane you can never be certain about anything. This is an important change and yet we have no idea when, how or if it's gonna happen at all. Was expecting some specificity, can't really complain though I guess.

BUMP, its almost peak server time and population wont die down until past 11:59pm ST, why hasn't the squish happened yet?! Are you really going to do it, this evening mid-raid time for most raiding guilds? Not to mention peak population time... Please some sort of answer from staff would be nice, is it going to be early hours tomorrow?

It should be noted that as of 12 hours ago, while those messages were still being broadcast, the bonus coins for donation were still in effect, despite the erroneous date.
The bonus is gone now, but I haven't been online to see if the message is still being broadcast.

Main page states that the gold squish will take place at 23:00 server time and that all realms will be down for approximately an hour.
