WotLK Issues with keeping my graphics settings on startup.

So, I downloaded the client for the first time last year and never had this issue, but I recently purchased a new hard drive and decided to do a fresh install of my OS. I downloaded the client again on my new drive and now I'm having this issue where every time I start the game it acts like it's the first time I'm opening the client. It takes me through the opening cinematic and has me scroll through and accept the EULA and such. However, the most frustrating thing is that it resets all my graphics preferences.
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and if so, were you ever able to fix it??

sounds like your settings fail to get saved, which is a common sign for write permission conflicts, which happens when you install your game in directories that the system likes to control. Try simply moving your game some other directory or even partition and try again.

follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC ( this is important in your case)
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only".
