Slow response time on tickets made?

Hi,
Recently made the switch from playing vanilla private servers over the last 5 years to now trying things out on Warmane WOTLK.
Yesterday I got banned out of nowhere for "ninja looting" (5 days ban). Made a ticket and it have been +15 hours now and not replied yet. (Says "Awaiting Staff")
Mostly been using the dungeon finder system to gear up my priest. Is not the first time I am playing priest, so I am pretty aware of the items I can and cannot use for the holy/disc spec I am currently using.
Might seem to be an outloud call of rage, but I am simply just confused how this could happen.
Clearly stated in my ticket, that GM or whoever responsibly can look through my logs/items etc.. Whatever is needed, but the response time for tickets is really shocking to me.
Pretty sad now that the IRL mates I'm gearing up with is grinding away without me.
Anyone else have experrience with this?

Ban appeal tickets are lowest priority and usually take at least a few days.

don't get your hopes up for an unban. to get banned for ninja looting a gm would have already looked at a report with evidence and deemed it worthy of a ban.
