Technical High CPU/GPU load

Hi guys,

can you tell me your CPU load ingame? My CPU runs at 4,5 Ghz (i5-6600K) and I got an GTX970.

2 CPU threads are running at 90%, 2 threads at 50%
GPU at about 40%

I cant believe the game has to use so much. What do you think?

can someone at least confirm they also got this high CPU/GPU load? Please don't make me make up conspiracy theories about Miners in the client.

Have you checked how much load does wow actually use?

I have 6600k and gtx 960 and with 12 characters launched in dalaran i get arround 80% overall cpu usage and 50% gpu.
Im running at low settings but that still should use alot more than your 1window.xD

1 window uses at ultra arround 10-20% cpu and 20-40% gpu

Another client and several Videosettings have not brought any improvement. This is really strange... Anyone got an idea?

open task manager and check how much exactly does wow window use %.

if lowering video setting didnt help, it must be something else using the load, not the wow...

P.S earlyer i posted info about icecrown realm, wich uses even more recources than tbc. :s

It's the client - I am not dumb lol.

Lowering setting helps for a bit. If I cap at 60 fps it's 40% load instead of 50% CPU.
That's really wierd...
