Server crashes

Hello.

I rolled on this server last week and so far the server has crashed for 10-15 minutes on a daily basis. Monday it happened even 3 times where the world server was down for the same amount of time.

Have I just joined at an unlucky time or is this normal?

Bashing the server is not my intention. It is just nice to know whether one should brace themselves for daily crashes at random times.

It actually happens quite a bit here. Most players have guessed that it's due to the 12,000 Population cap here and a few have even demanded it to be reduced because of this.
