Technical Coming back to the game after many years

Hi! I was an avid WoW player a couple of years ago (since the molten days) and had multiple characters on my old account. I want to come back to the game, but unfortunately I don't remember my username and password anymore and the email I used to sign up for the account has been compromised. I do remember the names of my characters and some other details, and I was just wondering if it was possible for me to get my account back? Any response would be appreciated.

when did you stop play? On what Expansion?

If you stopped playing before of 2015 then all your characters are lost.

I played WotLK, and I believe I stopped playing around mid-late 2015. I'm not 100% sure though

I think I have found my username, still not sure about the password though. I don't know if that helps
