Do staff not look at ban appeals ?
I took me 2 hours to get banned after a person claimed he had sent a report on me . I sent in my ban appeal 1 day ago and no one has looked at it

Ok, in my case its only a five day ban so taking a few days to get an aswer might be pointless but if someone got permabanned or for a longer period and wrongfully so and the staff takes around 3-4 days to look through the ban appeals yet ban people within hours might seem unfair.

Not quite sure what you're saying... that we should take 3-4 days to ban someone because we have a large volume of tickets and ban appeals can take that long? That makes zero sense.

No That is not what Im saying, i’m just saying that if someone was wrongfully banned for say 5 days. Pardon my rudeness, what would be the point of checking that persons ban appeal after 4 days. And if before you ban someone take contact with that person and show him/her the evidence so they dont have to be confused about it.

You are doing a good job with quick response when banning people but it’s quite sad if they have to serve their full sentence if they were wrongfully banned

Bans from reports are only issued if enough evidence is provided, in the for of videos or unedited screenshots, and aren't taken lightly. You are misunderstanding what the ban appeal system is for. As the name indicates, you are appealing it, i.e. you are making a request for it to be reversed. You aren't claiming it to be a wrong ban or to be innocent, you are simply asking to be given a second chance and for the sentence that was already decided to be reversed - a request that can also be denied. That being so, they have the lowest priority and, yes, in the case of short bans it just might happen that they run out before the appeal is checked, which is considered fine.

That aside, we have our rules posted in the Forums and the general reason for a ban is always provided to the player when they log in on our page. Any confusion should be easily solved by reading the rules, reading the ban reason and linking them together to your actions before the ban. In your case you say you even had someone tell you they were reporting you, so whatever reason it was should be even clearer.
