Hello!

I get all hyped when gearing up new toon but sometimes I don’t have as many coins as I would like to have and I’m forced to half/gear my toon and that bothers me. So, thinking how to go around that I’ve came up with an idea from which we both(players and Warmane) could benefit.

Create an option to trade coins for points, but make it worth it. For example: 1coin=7/8/9 points.
This way, players will be able to buy few end-game pieces and use smaller amount of coins to get few other items that they would be missing which would make them BG/RAID ready instantly.
Players who were able to donate for full gear all AT once will still continue to do so, while others will try to squeee in needed $10/20/30 in order to be ready.

You can look AT it this way, from my perspective:
Let’s say that I want to make hmmm... human blood dk on Icecrown
I would be ok donating 125 coins and getting: Glorenzelg HC, SFF HC, PTS HC, t10 Head and Shoulders and that would leave me with like 10 coins and I can’t do anything with 10 coins and giving another $125 for coins isn’t really appealing. On the other hand - I could TRADE 10 coins for let’s say 80 points(or even more 1:10, would be ok too - I didn’t go into that type of calc) and get two/three entry level tanking items or donate another 10/20 and buy everything else...

Edit: Same is for PvP. I get 5 items and then I can get everything else Furious and be ready for BG.

In the worst case: Wouldn’t be nice to have option to do this?

Did you really think that people can be hyped for 6 months? I don't get your perception at all.

Also, your answer has nothing to do with this suggestion and it would be best if you would just skip replying if you don't have anything to add to the idea itself.

Ok so I'll reply to the idea : No, if you want coins pay, and if you want point, wait everyday.

Also I play for not even 1 month and get already 4 80, 1 full T9 5K2 GS (could be a little more but I take low GS trinket because they're better than what I can get for now)

So "for months" actually show me that you don't know how to play in a normal way, so do what you want

5GS is really impressive, especially on 4 toons. You'll be ready for ICC 25 HC in a year

Thanks, also I didn't say "5 gs" on 4 toons, also if you can't do a ICC at 5 200+ gs maybe yes, you'll need to pay every piece of your stuff because you seems to be a very bad player, maybe you should try cataclysm, will be more easy for you :/

5.2k GS on Icecrown is not geared and there's no a pug raid who will accept you to a raid. Maybe a guild would be good.

And I must say that your months comparison is really stupid. Because maybe for someone, one month of played time is actually 600+ hours and for someone is 60+. Also for six months, for someone 4000+ hours and for someone 100+.

Now back on topic. I think the idea is good, but not very needed.
