Technical Gold stolen

I don’t know how this happen when I was on your website reading the news I got an email saying my account password and email have changed so I quickly reset my password and my account email and when I checked my game 2,000 gold was missing now I am only left with 40 silver and 59 bronze.

I don’t know how this happen no one has my email and or account password I don’t post in forums so there is no way they got my email that way. How do I get my gold back this is really upsetting I play wow cause I love the game I use your services because you guys have a two way protection from stuff like this happening but it happened to me? I don’t go to other website claiming they are you I use legit warmane.com website and I don’t post so I was extra careful

Please advise on what to do and how to correct this issue like I said I changed my email and password but that’s all I can do now what? I’m still missing 2,000 gold I spent forever getting and countless alliance (since I’m a horde) ganking me and frustrating long hours to get for it to disappear in a blink of an eye is seriously upsetting

You may also want to enable the two factor authentication feature for your account. You can either use the Google auth ap or it'll email you an auth code. That should help prevent this from happening in the future.
