Technical Game stuck at "Patch Required"

I was in a dungeon when the game froze, looked like i lost connection to the server, everything but me quit moving and i couldnt attack etc. I close the game and when i restarted it, all my video settings had been set to default and i cannot login any more.

After I've entered my password, a screen saying "Downloading Update - 0%" comes up and then nothing else happens. I cannot see the realmlist either. I've checked my realmlist.wtf and config, they both correctly have 'logon.warmane.com' as realm- and patchlist.

Any ideas on what happened and how i can fix it? I'm playing on the WOTLK (old) client, Icecrown server.

I was trying to log in with my email instead of acct name. Dont know how to delete the post but at least i can log in again.
