I went through the Warmane guide posted here in the forums on how to install add-ons. I downloaded a handful from curseforge, unzipped them using 7zip into the "interface/addons/directory" folder, but I'm not seeing anything in-game, including a menu that says anything about add-ons.

Addon folders should look like this: interface/addons/<addons name> and the folder named after the addon should have some of the addons files directly in it. Make sure there are no extra folders.

Appreciate your assistance, that fixed it for me. The guide says something about "directory" in the file path location, once removing that and directing them to the folder without that extension, the add-on issue was resolved. Been about 9yrs since I played (ex-Molten WoW), so excuse my ignorance. Didn't wanna cave for the curseforge/twitch app "thing."

Directory just means folder. It was probably referring to an addons folder, which is named after the addon. And you can't use curse/twitch app to get addons for earlier expansions.
